We are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to support one of our largest and fastest-growing data center clients. This is a high-visibility, Senior Sales Role requiring strong technical acumen, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Location: Santa Clara, CA  


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to a major hyperscale data center customer, managing relationships and driving design-in wins.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and provide Interconnect solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams (Product Management, Engineering, and Operations) to ensure seamless delivery and support for the customer.
  • Identify growth opportunities, build account strategies, and execute on revenue targets.
  • Represent Amphenol in technical and commercial discussions, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical sales, field applications engineering, or business development in connector, semiconductor, or related hardware industry.
  • Ability to carry out technical conversations with engineering teams; connector background is a plus but not required.
  • Fast-paced, customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building and account management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
