We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to be based in Etters, PA. This role will support Human Resources initiatives and provide support to our teams across the United States – primarily in Etters, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support for the High Speed Cables business unit in areas such as data-entry, compliance matters, reporting, immigration, and document management
- Prepare written employee notices, hire sheets, and Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) related to new hires, supervisor and role changes, and terminations
- Support the preparation, tracking, and management of immigration cases under manager and attorney supervision
- Generate HR reports and assist with other compliance related initiatives as needed
- Support talent acquisition efforts, onboarding and employee 1st day initiatives
- Support employee engagement and HR initiatives within the facility
- Be the problem-solver and remain comfortable with new tasks as they arise, while keeping a focus on the customer
- Assist with streamlining HR processes
- Assist with additional Human Resources projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Ability to handle confidential information, manage competing priorities and show a strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organization skills
- Intermediate proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in interactions with employees and managers
