Position: Associate Systems & Cybersecurity Administrator

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Amphenol is hiring an Associate Systems & Cybersecurity Administrator to support day-to-day IT and security operations, including networking, server, and backup administration. The role monitors security alerts, assists with systems and security administration, maintains documentation, and helps mature the organization's technology and cybersecurity programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review, and triage security alerts across email, cloud, and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Investigate security events, document findings, resolve false positives, and escalate confirmed incidents with recommended next steps.
  • Perform routine security administration: account and permission updates, MFA, access reviews, and security group maintenance.
  • Maintain security documentation, standard operating procedures, incident records, asset information, audit evidence, and internal knowledge base materials.
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows infrastructure services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file, print, and certificate services.
  • Perform backup administration: monitor job success, validate integrity, run periodic restore testing, and support disaster recovery planning.
  • Support VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
  • Manage operating system, application, and firmware patching across servers, workstations, and infrastructure devices.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • One to three years in cybersecurity, security operations, help desk, or systems administration (preferred).
  • Familiarity with any of: Microsoft 365 Security, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, email security tools, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless, and troubleshooting), firewalls, VPNs, or basic Linux administration.
  • Exposure to virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), storage (SAN/NAS), and backup/DR tools (Veeam, Azure Backup, or comparable) is a plus.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience with enterprise backup, storage systems, RAID, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, ManageEngine, or comparable.
